It's a Wrap.

As Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Week draws to a close tomorrow, these images are some of my favorite from the week. They're courtesy of Jamie Beck, an AMAZINGLY talented photographer and "cinemagrapher" (see above).

Check out the shots below and then you can head here for more.

Top 5 Fashion Films

In honor of Fashion Week - My Top 5 Favorite Films About Fashion:

5. The Devil Wears Prada
I'm not a huge fan of this movie, but with over a million dollars worth of costume design and Meryl Streep, it's kind of a no-brainer.

4. Funny Face
It's Audrey. It's fashion. You don't need anything else.

3. Blow-Up
Michelangelo Antonioni's film about a fashion photographer's accidental involvement in murder is scored by Herbie Hancock and contains one of cinema's sexiest scenes in history. But, I'd love this just for Herbie.

2. The September Issue
One of my favorite docs of all time. It's a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at Vogue that inadvertently focuses on Grace Coddington...one of my favorite people ever.

1. Prêt-à-Porter
This film has satire, Sophia Loren AND Lauren Bacall (her character's name is Slim, btw - awesome), fashion and about 300 cameos. And, it's freaking hilarious.

Gemma Arterton for G-Star RAW

One of G-Star's new faces is my Gemma Arterton (the other is Vincent Gallo). The company has made an excellent choice in going with Gemma, if I do say so myself.

Their vintage military-inspired denim is just that as the name says -raw. Untreated and unwashed, sent straight from the factory, which is how all denim starts out after construction.

Here's a look at their cool campaign:

I'm in love.

It brings me great joy when things that make me happiest in life come together - like shoes and art in this case. I NEED THESE. NEED. --->

And polka dots kinda make my day. I love them.

I'm pretty jealous of those who can create amazing art...especially when the art comes in the form of 6" stilettos. I'm not so bad at the creating side, but I lack the inspiration to create it. Fail. I can put a mean outfit together or make your house look like it's about to be photographed for Architectural Digest, though. So, at least I have that going for me.

It's probably best if I don't learn how to make amazing shoes anyway. I already have about 200 pairs. (What? Stop judging.) If my limits were endless, I'd literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes.

Christmas is right around the corner, though, sooo...if you're feeling generous, you can head on over to TaylorSays. Just a thought. :)

These (Re)Boots Are Made for Bloggin'.

Confession: I hate writing. But, the cross that I must bear is that I'm opinionated. So, I write...sometimes. Other times I just spout off and let people duck and run. Anyway, I decided a while ago to dust off my poor excuse for a blog and try again - too many pent up opinions makes Chelsea a mean girl, after all. Funny mean, though...like Ricky Gervais. And that makes sense since I've always said the inside of my head is like an awards show - pretty clothes, lots of sparkle and Ricky's humor. So, lucky you...you get all that minus Billy Bush or Ryan Seacrest.

I figured if I was going to stop being lazy (and mean), then NY Fashion Week would be the best time to find my motivation since few things excite me like Fashion Week does - except street art, pop art, photography, costume design, interior design and vintage anything. Just a few things...

So, here we are. Fashion Week Eve and I'm excited.
